About The Position

The Count Team Member performs scheduled hard and soft drops and counts for slots, table games, arcade/pay phones, tip boxes, and sports betting kiosks. The role ensures counts are accurate and activities comply with company standards, gaming regulations, Grand River Casino procedures, and internal controls. The position also requires recording and verifying count results, maintaining count equipment, and performing other duties assigned by the Count Team Supervisor.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Must qualify for a Standing Rock Sioux Tribal “Key” license.
Must have 20/20 corrected vision and not be color blind.
High school graduate or GED.
Must be able to communicate professionally with internal and external guests and maintain confidentiality.
Must be physically able to walk, stand, kneel, and lift for extended periods of 8 hours or more.
Must be able to lift 60 pounds or more.
Must be able to bend and push or pull a heavy cart.
Must have grasping ability, hand and finger dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and color acuity.

Nice To Haves

Three months of experience in a casino environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled hard and soft drops and counts of slots, tables, arcade/pay phones, and tip boxes.
Perform and verify drops and counts of employee tip boxes, stacker boxes, and table games.
Record drop results according to the drop/count policy and procedures manual.
Record the contents of each stacker box and batch money by denomination, ensuring the manual count matches the computer printout.
Clean count equipment daily and maintain a maintenance log for all machines.
Drop sports betting kiosks and count their drop boxes in accordance with slot drop policies and procedures.
Perform other duties assigned by the Count Team Supervisor.
Perform duties in compliance with company standards, gaming regulations, casino procedures, and internal controls.
