Count Team Member
About The Position
Under the direct supervision of the Count Team Manager, the Count Team Member counts coin and cash denominations for the Casino. The role verifies cash taken in from drop boxes in the Count Room, pulls and processes coins from Casino slot machines, and takes daily meter readings on offline machines. The employee maintains confidentiality of Casino Operations and contributes to team efforts, performing other duties as required. Work is generally performed in an office and Casino setting, with exposure to second-hand smoke and high noise levels. Evening and/or weekend work, extended hours, and irregular shifts may be required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED plus some experience in cash handling in a large-volume setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have no felony, theft, or stealing convictions.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation.
- Knowledge of basic math skills.
- Knowledge of basic safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing, with staff and the general public.
- Skill in operating business computers and office machines, including in a Windows environment, specifically Word, Excel, Access, and presentation software such as PowerPoint.
