About The Position
Provides direct care and manages the patient population of a partial care treatment center serving children. The role is per diem/PRN and is scheduled Monday through Friday during the day.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Experience with children in behavioral and mental health.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a therapeutic and safe environment for all patients.
- Facilitate regular therapeutic groups addressing identified treatment issues and reinforcing each patient’s treatment plan.
- Provide observational feedback within the multidisciplinary team context.
- Accurately record daily patient progress in medical records and complete other required paperwork.
- Ride along with the van driver to transport patients to and from the program.
- Maintain certification in the Handle with Care behavior management system.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
