About The Position

Pyramid Healthcare’s Langhorne residential program provides gender-specific, individualized recovery services for adult men and women in Bucks County and surrounding areas. The program supports clients in safely coping with trauma without substances and pursuing wellness and personal growth. Residents live onsite in a structured environment and receive education, therapy, and medical care. Counselors facilitate process groups, individual therapy, and family therapy. The role supports the facility’s daily clinical schedule and services, including assessments and utilization review. Counselors provide therapy, complete intake assessments, maintain a caseload and client files, and support the Director in ensuring necessary services are provided. The position offers two schedule options: Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m., with Sunday and Monday off; or Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m., with Saturday and Sunday off. Pay is $50,000–$55,000, based on experience and education.

Requirements

Option 1: Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or Chemical Dependency, and licensed or working toward licensure as an LMFT, LSW, or LPC, or credentialing as a CAADC.
Option 2: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or Chemical Dependency; certified or working toward certification as a CADC; and one year of counseling experience in individual, group, or family therapy.
Candidates working toward licensure or certification may be considered if they have the required experience.

Responsibilities

Assist with the overall daily schedule, including assessments, utilization review, and clinical services.
Provide individual and group therapy to individuals in treatment.
Complete client intake assessments.
Train in utilization review processes and perform insurance reviews as needed.
Maintain a caseload as required.
Support the Director in providing necessary services for the facility.
Perform clerical duties to maintain client files.
Perform other duties as assigned.
