About The Position

The counselor-in-training (CIT) program at A/U Ranches offers 17-year-olds an opportunity to learn and grow as servant leaders before their senior year in high school. CITs gain leadership and collaborative experience while working with campers and counselors in an environment where Christian Science is lived. They also support camp sessions by maintaining the lodges and washing dishes after meals. CITs receive ongoing guidance and feedback from the CIT trainer.

Requirements

• Be 17 years old.
• Demonstrate a commitment to Christian Science.
• Be willing to uphold high moral and ethical standards.
• Show enthusiasm for working with young people with love, patience, and consistency.
• Be able to flexibly support in a variety of areas as needs arise.
• Be able to participate in outdoor adventure and recreational activities.
• Be able to live in a cabin with campers and other staff.
