About The Position

The CIT Trainer facilitates the counselor-in-training (CIT) program and supports CITs working at both Sky Valley Ranch and Round-Up Ranch. The role leads the development of a strong CIT community, delivers leadership training, and provides CITs with ongoing feedback and support. The CIT Trainer models what it means to live Christian Science, shares fresh ideas for the program, and contributes to strengthening the A/U Ranches’ CIT training model. This position works in close collaboration with program and camp directors and lodge managers.

Requirements

• Demonstrated commitment to Christian Science.
• At least 21 years old at time of employment.
• Willingness to uphold high moral and ethical standards.
• Enthusiasm for working with young people with love, patience, and consistency.
• Ability to work independently and manage time and tasks efficiently.
• Ability to flexibly support a variety of areas as needs arise.
• Ability to participate in outdoor adventure and recreational activities.
• Ability and willingness to live in a cabin with other staff when needed.

Nice To Haves

• College graduate preferred.
