About The Position
Boston Conservatory at Berklee invites applications for Costume Shop openings as: draper/stitchers, wardrobe assistants, and hair/wigs/makeup assistants. Part of the Performance Services department, Costume Shop Overhires are casual, hourly employees reporting to and supervised by the Costume Shop Manager and staff.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in a professional theatrical/performance environment
- Ability to work independently, take direction, move with urgency, remain diplomatic and calm in fast-paced situations
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, FileMaker, and/or similar formats for record-keeping and communications
- Interest in and knowledge of costume construction techniques
- Knowledge of wardrobe maintenance
- Valid driver's license
