About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our engineering team as a cost engineering Intern. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of power distribution and switching products within our organization. The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging engineering skills to improve designs for manufacturability or cost reduction to drive product level cost improvements, increasing the business's' bottom line. The engineering intern role provides hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of engineering within a specific industry. Interns typically work closely with experienced engineers, assisting them with ongoing projects, conducting research, and contributing to the development of testing products or systems. The successful candidate will have the chance to apply theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom to real-world engineering challenges, gaining valuable practical skills and insights. Additionally, they will receive mentorship and guidance from senior engineers, helping them to further develop their technical abilities and professional network within the field of engineering.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a degree in mechanical, electrical, or other engineering field.
