About The Position
As a Cosmetic Counter Manager, you represent Von Maur and help shape the company’s reputation for customer service. You are responsible for the complete operations of a cosmetic line and for inspiring a team of beauty advisors to achieve their personal and counter goals. The role includes leading and developing associates, growing counter business, meeting sales goals, and planning cosmetic events. You must be available for a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- Motivate associates to deliver outstanding customer service by training, coaching, and leading by example.
- Develop relationships to grow counter business.
- Perform all duties of a cosmetics sales associate and meet individual sales and account goals.
- Assess associate performance to improve customer service, increase sales, and meet counter goals.
- Plan and execute cosmetic events and gift-with-purchase events.
- Work a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts.
