About The Position

Bloomingdale’s Cosmetics Beauty Advisors provide excellent service and sell the full assortment of products in store and online. The role focuses on building and maintaining client relationships through outstanding service and product knowledge while maintaining compelling merchandise presentation. Beauty Advisors provide makeup application lessons, skin care consultations and treatments, and current trend advice. They are welcoming, friendly, and engaged, keep the sales floor energetic, and put customer needs first.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous selling experience.
• Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule that may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Previous selling experience in cosmetics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, seamless, and enjoyable in-store experience while building and cultivating customer relationships.
• Drive sales with in-store and online clients by embracing and using technology proficiently.
• Participate in the merchandising and operational requirements of the role.
• Provide makeup application lessons, skin care consultations and treatments, and trend advice.
• Maintain compelling merchandise presentation and provide product knowledge.
