About The Position

The Cosmetics Beauty Advisor at Bloomingdale’s provides excellent customer service and product knowledge while building and maintaining client relationships. The role supports selling the full assortment both in store and online, maintains compelling merchandise presentation, and helps create an engaging, seamless customer experience. Beauty Advisors provide makeup application lessons, skin care consultations and treatments, and current trend advice while keeping customer needs first.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous selling experience required, preferably in cosmetics.
Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods; perform reaching, crouching, kneeling, and stooping; and have color vision.
Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.
