About The Position

The Cosmetic QC Lead supports the Cosmetic QC Supervisor in planning, prioritizing, coordinating, and executing daily departmental tasks. This role ensures products are processed efficiently, on schedule, and in compliance with established quality standards. Key responsibilities include assisting with monitoring workflow, managing resources, tracking KPIs, overseeing supply and maintenance programs, and compliance with company policies. The position also involves training team members, providing process guidance, and assigning work tasks under the direction of Cosmetic QC Supervisor. Demonstrates leadership aligned with the organization’s vision, mission, and values. Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with cell phone repair or other industry related experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience working in a distribution, manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
  • Previous work experience with Mannapov preferred.
  • 1+ year Cosmetic QC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily departmental operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage assigned projects and tasks, ensuring timely completion, and maintenance of quality standards.
  • Assist with daily planning, organizing, and evaluating departmental activities to achieve daily objectives.
  • Utilize ICE reports to monitor project progress, maintain inventory accuracy, and identify discrepancies, report issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with leadership when system errors or equipment downtime occurs.
  • Audit work in progress and complete tasks to maintain consistent quality.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service; collaborate with leadership on implementing process changes.
  • Ensure established work procedures are applied to maintain consistency in workflow and team performance.
  • Assist supervisor with task delegation, performance evaluation, hiring, on-boarding and training.
  • Monitor and report departmental supply inventory status.
  • Aid in creating and executing action plans to resolve recurring production or quality issues.
  • Promote a safe work environment. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Prevent and address nonconformances in products, processes, and quality systems; halt processing of nonconforming items until resolved.
  • Document and report product or process issues in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain machinery to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
  • As needed assume leadership responsibility in absence of department supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
