About The Position

QinetiQ's Defense Division is seeking a Correspondence Analyst to become a part of our outstanding team supporting the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy (OUSDP), Policy Management & Operations (PMO) office within the Pentagon. The PMO office's mission is to provide outstanding strategic management and services in support of Policy's mission through being committed to the pursuit of excellence, transparency, and accountability. An ideal candidate will be a self-starter who has a demonstrated ability to work as an integrated member of a team to achieve mission objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 2+ years of experience is required. A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.
  • 2 years' proficiency with MS Windows and MS Office applications and software is required.
  • Top Secret required with SCI eligibility.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the OSD Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS) is highly desired.
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively on teams.
  • Direct experience with GAO/IG Audits.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, prioritize, direct, and/or organize incoming products and information, route correspondence, and maintain current files for all executive correspondence.
  • Distribute incoming and outgoing unclassified and classified documents, determine the type of action required by internal office(s) for incoming documents, identify responsible office for action/coordination/ assistance, and identify which outside offices have a collateral interest.
  • Coordinate and assist internally and externally for executive-level items by providing workflow subject matter expertise and serving as liaison to external OSD office when managing correspondence and workflows.
  • Provide direct interface with internal OUSD(P) DASD and ASD offices and guests via in-person or by telephone to assist in the coordination and execution of OUSD(P) documentation and records.
  • Analyze incoming correspondence for prioritization and coordination.
  • Engage with organizational stakeholders to evaluate and determine criticality of specific deliverables and make independent judgements to ensure all packages are appropriately prioritized and coordinated.
  • Assist OUSD(P) Executive Secretariate in the development and implementation of improved workflow processes and approaches.
  • Work with teammates to prioritize and distribute organizational correspondence appropriately.
