About The Position
As a Corrections Stock Clerk for the Department of Corrections, you will help maintain order and efficiency within the institution. This position allows you to be a key player in organizing inventory and supporting daily operations. Your efforts will keep important materials moving safely through SCI Camp Hill. You will join a team that values dependability, teamwork, and steady performance. This role supports the daily flow of materials and helps maintain secure and organized operations within the facility.
Requirements
- One year of stockroom, warehouse, retail sales, or clerical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Successful Completion of basic training of Elizabethtown, PA
- Must be able to perform essential job functions.
- Must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Receive and track stock items while ensuring proper storage and accurate documentation
- Process inmate commissary orders and maintain complete transaction records
- Guide inmates in work tasks and maintain attendance and progress information
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to move heavy materials safely
- Compile sales data, input inmate payroll information, and prepare reports
