Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in one of the Behavioral Sciences, Correctional, Police or Public Administration
- Five years of experience in a correctional facility
- Must possess/maintain an active telephone in his/her residence
- Must submit to and pass a police background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen
Responsibilities
- Assisting Managers, Administrators and Command Staff by coordinating policy development
- Researching and recommending revisions to the corrections, policies, and procedures
- Integrating professional correctional practices as recommended by national accrediting agencies
- Serving as Project Manager for the acquisition and maintenance of accreditation
- Serving as Department liaison to accrediting agencies
- Directly supervises the Physical Security and Safety Administrator
