Requirements
- Four years of experience performing building maintenance, construction, or general trades work; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee inmate crews completing routine maintenance and construction tasks
- Plan and assign work schedules and review completed assignments
- Provide instruction on machinery operation and preventative maintenance
- Maintain order and discipline during all work activities
- Issue, track, and inventory tools and materials for assigned tasks
- Determine materials needed for carpentry tasks and submit purchase requests
