Requirements

• One year as a Corrections General Industries Factory Foreperson (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Four years of experience in the production of goods or services, which includes one year of lead work experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training, which includes one year of lead work experience in the production of goods or services.
• Meet the PA residency requirement.
• Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions.
• Must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, training, and evaluations for staff and inmate workers
• Guide product design, development, and quality checks from start to finish
• Organize schedules, inventory levels, and shipping timelines to meet needs
• Control the receipt, storage, and use of materials, equipment, and supplies
• Manage factory records so they align with retention rules and standards
