Requirements
- One year of professional sales experience in a manufacturing or service oriented production operation, and a bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business administration, or a closely related area; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Possession of an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C driver’s license or equivalent.
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to one of the following counties by the time of hire: Bradford, Carbon, Lackawanna, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Northampton, Pike, Schuylkill, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Wayne or Wyoming.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions.
- Must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Establish contacts with officials and agencies to promote products and services
- Conduct presentations and gather information on customer needs and preferences
- Attend conventions and distribute catalogs, price lists and product samples
- Prepare reports, calendars and customer records to track activity
- Visit CI shops and act as liaison between customers and CI operations
- Prepare customer orders, price quotes and follow up on account concerns
