The Corporate Security Operations Lead (CSO) administers and executes the Credit Union’s Physical Security Program and serves as the primary authority for day-to-day security operations and incident response. This role is responsible for protecting employees, members, tenants, facilities and organizational assets by assessing risk, determining appropriate response actions, and implementing effective security controls. The position exercises independent judgment and discretion in managing security incidents, including after-hours events, and ensures coordinated response with internal stakeholders and external agencies. The Corporate Security Operations Lead serves as the primary decision-maker during active security incidents and is authorized to implement immediate protective measures, including access restrictions, lockdowns, and escalation to emergency services. The role operates without the need for prior approval from Safety or other departments during active incidents. While this role is responsible for operational execution and program administration, security strategy, governance, and long-term planning remain the responsibility of the Director of Facilities and Administrative Services. This position collaborates closely with Facilities, Safety (ERM), Business Continuity, People Experience, Branch leadership, and Vendor Management to maintain a secure, safe and compliant environment.
