About The Position

Securitas USA is hiring experienced, full-time Corporate Security Officers for positions located in McLean, Virginia. Officers provide security services to meet client needs and help safeguard people and assets. The role calls for attentive monitoring, sound decision-making, adherence to protocols, and courteous customer service as a first point of contact.

Available schedules are 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. (second shift) and 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. (third shift). Officers must work at least one weekend shift, Saturday or Sunday. Pay is $21.00 per hour. Securitas advertises weekly pay, career growth opportunities, and an employee referral bonus.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of verifiable security and/or military experience.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver's license.
• Meet all state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be over the age of 18.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and navigate uneven terrain.
• Availability for weekend shifts.
• Basic computer knowledge is preferred.
