About The Position
The Corporate Philanthropy Intern assists with Jackson’s Corporate Philanthropy program, which directs corporate donations and volunteer efforts into the local community. The position is part of the Enterprise Marketing and Communications department and offers exposure to Jackson’s communications and marketing teams. Other departmental duties may include copywriting, event photography, graphic design, and presentation creation.
Requirements
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Solid technical writing skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Enrollment in an associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degree program.
- Previous internship or work experience.
- Previous volunteer experience.
- Experience with event planning.
Nice To Haves
- Fundraising experience.
- Experience with social media and graphic design.
- Coursework in Journalism, English, Communications, or Nonprofit Management.
Responsibilities
- Organize charity grant applications.
- Assist with company-sponsored special events.
- Assist with fundraisers and donation drives.
- Coordinate volunteer projects.
- Write and edit articles for the company intranet.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
