About The Position

The Corporate Philanthropy Intern assists with Jackson’s Corporate Philanthropy program, which directs corporate donations and volunteer efforts into the local community. As part of the Enterprise Marketing and Communications department, the intern also gains exposure to Jackson’s communications and marketing teams. Additional departmental duties may include copywriting, event photography, graphic design, and creating presentations. The position is based in Nashville and starts in Summer 2027.

Requirements

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Solid technical writing skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enrollment in an associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degree program.
• Previous internship or work experience.
• Previous volunteer experience.
• Experience with event planning.

Nice To Haves

• Fundraising experience.
• Experience with social media and graphic design.
• Completion of courses in Journalism, English, Communications, or Nonprofit Management.

Responsibilities

• Organize charity grant applications.
• Assist with company-sponsored special events.
• Assist with fundraisers and donation drives.
• Coordinate volunteer projects.
• Write and edit articles for the company’s intranet.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
