About The Position

At Feed the Children, we are seeking a Corporate Partnerships Account Director to join our Corporate Partnerships team. This role is responsible for driving partnership growth through a 360-degree fundraising approach, documented in the CRM, using a strategic, insight-driven account plan aligned to team strategy. The position manages a portfolio of partners (typically 6–8+ figure relationships) and is accountable for renewals and growth across both cash and gifts-in-kind (GIK), ensuring strong partner engagement, fulfillment, reporting, and activation that deliver measurable value for Feed the Children and our partners. The ideal candidate will work hybrid from our corporate office in Oklahoma City, OK, but all qualified candidates nationwide will be considered.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent with emphasis in business, communications, or another related field is preferred.
  • 5-7+ years of progressive experience in corporate partnerships, corporate sales/business development, or fundraising, with responsibility for renewal strategy and year-over-year revenue growth.
  • High proficiency with CRM systems and pipeline/portfolio management discipline; able to document partner strategies, activities, deliverables, and outcomes with accuracy and consistency.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and execute complex, top-tier corporate partnerships (often including 6–8 figure relationships) and build trusted relationships with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Experience expanding existing accounts through stakeholder mapping, whitespace/opportunity analysis, and cross-functional engagement strategies that increase partner participation and long-term value.
  • Proven success leading multiple workstreams simultaneously (activation, fulfillment, reporting, and partner communications) while meeting deadlines and coordinating across internal teams (Mission Impact, Marketing & Communications, Finance, Legal, and Operations).
  • Demonstrated record of securing and growing significant partner commitments, including both cash and gifts-in-kind (GIK); equivalent success in business development and corporate sales may be considered in lieu of nonprofit fundraising experience.
  • Experience developing strategic account plans, proposals, and presentations that secure renewals and expand partner engagement and revenue.
  • Experience establishing relationships with senior leaders at Fortune 500 companies and/or foundations and advancing value-exchange partnerships (including cause marketing and other 360 fundraising channels), from discovery through close.
  • Strong negotiation, influence, and conflict-resolution skills; able to navigate complex stakeholder environments with professionalism and executive presence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of corporate partners, typically 6-8+ figure relationships, demonstrate strong executive presence, relationship management and the ability to independently execute complex partnerships.
  • Own renewal strategy and year-over-year growth for assigned partners, increasing both cash and gifts-in-kind (GIK) revenue through a 360-degree fundraising approach (mission impact support, in-kind product, cause marketing, employee engagement, workplace giving, grants/foundation alignment, thought leadership, innovation, and other value-exchange opportunities, as appropriate).
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans that identify growth pathways, stakeholder maps, engagement tactics, and next-step asks; ensure plans, interactions, and outcomes are consistently documented in the CRM.
  • Create compelling presentations, proposals, and activation concepts that secure renewals, expand partner commitment, and strengthen long-term engagement.
  • Ensure partner commitments are secured in writing through either a pledge, contract or grant letters from corporate partners.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Feed the Children programs and strategic initiatives to align partner objectives with meaningful, high-impact opportunities.
  • Experience with developing and executing cause marketing partnerships.
  • Responsible for high-level interaction and strategic, flawless execution, stewardship, and overall management of partnerships, including budget creation, monitoring and resolution.
  • Lead partnership fulfillment, activation, and stewardship from commitment through delivery—aligning goals, timelines, and resources to execute flawlessly and deepen partner engagement.
  • Own partner reporting and performance updates, coordinating with Mission Impact, Marketing & Communications, Finance, and other internal teams to deliver timely, accurate impact and stewardship reporting aligned to partner expectations.
  • Create, drive, and maintain customized stewardship and engagement plans that add value, increase opportunity, and deepen and broaden partner relationships; document all interactions and progress in the CRM.
  • Execute all duties necessary for the successful implementation of the partnerships, including cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Mission Impact, Marketing and Communications, Legal, and other stakeholders, as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with Feed the Children’s Mission Impact, Marketing and Communications and/or other stakeholders to travel with key corporate partners, where the strategic and ongoing value of the relationship justifies such an investment.
  • Maintain strong tracking processes for partnership deliverables, activation timelines, and funding milestones; ensure accurate, timely documentation and reporting in the CRM.
  • Ensure all partner activities/results are monitored & reported in a professional manner to internal and external stakeholders; serve as lead for partner stewardship reports while working with the Marketing and Communications team to develop each donor report.
  • Responsible for the tracking & compliance of your travel budget.
  • Domestic travel required up to 50% of the work week during peak season. 15%-20% off peak season.
  • Attend relevant and key Feed the Children campaign and organizational events as necessary.
  • Support events as assigned and perform other related duties as required.
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality which are critical in order to complete the day-to-day tasks of this position.
