About The Position

NBCUniversal is seeking a high-performing finance professional to help shape the company’s finance experience as it transforms its financial processes, systems, and presentation. This role is part of the Corporate HQ team and supports total-company consolidation, with visibility to senior leadership, including the NBCUniversal CFO and EVP of FP&A. The position works with finance teams across the company and provides exposure to businesses including TV/Streaming, Studios, and Parks, as well as varied finance functions. As NBCUniversal transitions FP&A and operational planning to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), this role collaborates with finance teams and IT to design and develop SAC planning and analytics solutions. The position also supports broader finance organization improvements through process design, report and dashboard creation, AI use cases, and system or solution training and administration. Depending on the candidate’s experience, the role may be at Manager or Senior Manager level, with corresponding seniority, compensation, and performance expectations. The position currently follows a hybrid schedule requiring at least four days per week in the office. The company reserves the right to change in-office requirements. Compensation is $90,000–$125,000 per year and the role is bonus eligible.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or another relevant area.
At least 3 years of experience in FP&A, operational finance, or related roles.
Strong business acumen and understanding of finance/FP&A methodologies, processes, and systems.
Exceptional ability to visually represent financial insights clearly and informatively.
Experience using data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAC, Anaplan, or similar.
Problem-solving and process-design skills.
Visual design skills for reports and dashboards.
Data, finance, and analytics systems savvy.
Collaboration and project-management skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the media industry is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with teams to design and build SAC planning and analytics solutions.
Design and build SAC models and dashboards for Corporate FP&A and other company teams.
Lead SAC training sessions and dashboard-building workshops after becoming sufficiently familiar with the tool.
Own continuous improvement of FP&A and operational finance processes, including seeking and adopting new features and technologies.
Potentially manage the Corporate FP&A system instance as a business-user administrator.
Take on other responsibilities and projects as needed as priorities shift.
