About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Corporate Fleet and Asset Manager to oversee the procurement, management, maintenance, compliance, inventory control, and lifecycle administration of the organization's fleet vehicles, EMS medical equipment, and other fixed assets. This role is responsible for developing and implementing systems, processes, and reporting tools that ensure efficient asset utilization, regulatory compliance, operational readiness, and cost-effective management across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, analytical, and project management skills, along with expertise in fleet operations, asset management, inventory control, compliance reporting, and transportation safety. This individual will serve as a key partner to operational leaders and stakeholders to ensure assets are properly deployed, maintained, tracked, and supported throughout their lifecycle.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Fleet Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Demonstrated experience managing fleet operations, transportation assets, medical equipment, or fixed asset programs.
Strong knowledge of vehicle lifecycle management, preventive maintenance programs, fleet compliance requirements, and asset accountability practices.
Experience with fleet management software, telematics systems, GPS tracking platforms, maintenance management systems, and inventory control systems.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis, with experience developing dashboards and performance reporting.
Strong analytical, organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to develop policies, procedures, and operational controls that improve efficiency and compliance.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and continuously improve procurement, distribution, inventory tracking, and lifecycle management systems for fleet vehicles, EMS medical equipment, and other fixed assets.
Maintain comprehensive inventory oversight and accountability for all vehicle and asset inventories throughout the organization, including field-level locations.
Oversee daily fleet operations and asset utilization to ensure operational readiness and efficiency.
Manage the new vehicle onboarding process, ensuring all vehicles are properly equipped, outfitted, documented, and prepared for operational deployment.
Administer vehicle tracking systems, camera systems, telematics platforms, and other fleet monitoring technologies.
Manage fuel card programs and monitor fuel usage, reporting, and controls.
Coordinate vehicle assignments, transfers, replacement schedules, and disposal activities.
Oversee preventive maintenance programs and coordinate repairs to maximize vehicle safety, reliability, and uptime.
Ensure vehicle maintenance activities are accurately tracked, documented, and maintained within company systems.
Monitor and report on maintenance compliance, vehicle inspection requirements, and operational performance standards.
Manage fleet insurance programs, including maintaining accurate vehicle schedules and ensuring appropriate coverage.
Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA standards, transportation safety regulations, and other federal, state, and local requirements.
Conduct fleet and asset-related risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to improve safety and reduce organizational risk.
Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and controls that support fleet safety, asset accountability, and operational compliance.
Reimagine, develop, and maintain systems for medical equipment procurement, inventory control, distribution, maintenance, and utilization tracking.
Ensure accurate inventory records and accountability for all medical equipment and fixed assets.
Develop processes and controls that support efficient deployment, tracking, recovery, and replacement of organizational assets.
Develop and maintain reporting metrics, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor fleet, equipment, and asset performance.
Create reporting capabilities related to vehicle operating costs, including cost-per-mile analysis and utilization trends.
Analyze fleet and asset data to identify opportunities for operational improvements, cost reductions, resource optimization, and enhanced asset lifecycle management.
Prepare and present detailed reports on fleet performance, maintenance compliance, inventory status, safety initiatives, and operational trends for leadership review.
Build and maintain strong relationships with operational leaders, internal customers, vendors, insurers, maintenance providers, and industry partners.
Collaborate with department leaders to ensure fleet and asset resources align with organizational needs and strategic objectives.
Serve as a subject matter expert on fleet management, asset control, and equipment lifecycle planning.
Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
Remain accessible via phone, text, and email as needed to support organizational operations.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
