About The Position

This is a high-impact leadership role based in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, supporting beverage excellence across all Kalahari Resorts & Conventions locations. The right leader will work directly with ownership and the Corporate Food & Beverage Director to drive strategy, profitability, consistency, training, and elevated guest experiences throughout the enterprise. The Corporate Director of Beverage will lead and elevate all beverage-related initiatives across the company, including bars, lounges, restaurants, banquet operations, pool venues, entertainment spaces, and seasonal outlets. This leader will be expected to travel extensively at times to support openings, training, menu rollouts, operational audits, seasonal readiness, leadership development, and consistency initiatives. Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive beverage and food & beverage leadership experience
  • Significant multi-unit hotel, resort, casino, restaurant, or hospitality experience
  • Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, cocktail trends, and beverage operations
  • Experience managing P&Ls, forecasting, budgeting, and margin improvement
  • Proven leadership in training, coaching, accountability, and talent development
  • Ability to influence Directors, General Managers, and ownership-level stakeholders
  • Strong vendor relationship and negotiation experience
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced private ownership environment where speed and accountability matter
  • High-level communication and organizational skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel frequently and work flexible schedules when business demands it
  • Relocation to Wisconsin is required

Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining world-class beverage standards across all resort locations
  • Driving profitable beverage performance through pricing strategy, mix analysis, menu optimization, and execution
  • Leading beverage training programs in wine, spirits, beer, cocktail execution, responsible service, and guest engagement
  • Conducting property visits, operational audits, and consistency reviews
  • Partnering with property leadership teams to improve service, speed, cleanliness, culture, and results
  • Assisting with RFP processes, supplier negotiations, and strategic vendor partnerships
  • Supporting menu refreshers and beverage innovation without unnecessary disruption to proven concepts
  • Developing internal talent pipelines from barback to bartender, bartender to leader, and leader to executive
  • Reviewing and improving beverage cost controls, labor efficiency, inventory practices, and shrink prevention
  • Monitoring guest satisfaction performance and leading action plans tied to service recovery and beverage experience
  • Working closely with ownership and senior leadership to identify opportunities and solve problems quickly
