About The Position

Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Corporate Client Principal for their Entertainment division. This role involves building and understanding complex financial models, performing intricate financial analysis with minimal oversight, and creating high-impact presentation materials. The position requires a strong understanding of capital structures and capital market trends, supporting the execution of Debt Capital Markets (DCM) and Equity Capital Markets (ECM) Advisory transactions. The role also involves completing credit and financial statement analysis independently, coordinating with product partners to develop integrated financing solutions, and working effectively in a team environment under high stress. The Corporate Client Principal will manage priorities, support Capital Markets businesses by assessing the appropriateness of securities products and capital markets services for clients, and work with Capital Markets teams to deliver these offerings.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree, graduate degree preferred
• 5 – 7 years of experience in Banking, Investment Banking, M&A or Capital Markets
• Strong credit, corporate finance and underwriting skills
• Proven track record of success in working as a part of a team to originate and close complex financial transactions
• Excellent presentation skills, both oral and written required
• Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79 and 63, licenses within Fifth Third guidelines
• Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to synthesize financial data and trends
• Strong command of financial modeling and valuation techniques
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to internal and external stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Familiarity with financial databases and platforms such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or FactSet
• Ability to obtain and maintain required securities licenses in accordance with company policy

• Develop strong working relationships with peers, product partners and senior bankers throughout the organization
• Manage priorities while working on a number of high priority opportunities simultaneously
• Provide support to the Capital Markets businesses by assessing whether securities products and capital markets services would be appropriate for a particular client and working with the Capital Markets teams to provide those products and services to clients.
