About The Position

Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Corporate Client Principal for the Entertainment industry. This role involves building and understanding complex financial models, performing complex financial analysis with minimal oversight, and creating high-impact presentation materials. The position requires a strong understanding of capital structures and capital market trends, supporting the execution of Debt Capital Markets (DCM) and Equity Capital Markets (ECM) Advisory transactions, and completing credit and financial statement analysis independently. The role also involves coordinating with product partners to develop integrated financing solutions and pitch materials, managing priorities in a high-stress environment, and providing support to Capital Markets businesses by assessing the appropriateness of securities products and capital markets services for clients.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree required, graduate degree preferred.
  • 5 – 7 years of experience in Banking, Investment Banking, M&A or Capital Markets.
  • Strong credit, corporate finance and underwriting skills required.
  • Proven track record of success in working as a part of a team to originate and close complex financial transactions.
  • Excellent presentation skills, both oral and written required.
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79 and 63, licenses required within Fifth Third guidelines.
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to synthesize financial data and trends.
  • Qualified candidates will bring emerging professional proficiency, generally acquired through 5 - 7 years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong command of financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with financial databases and platforms such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or FactSet.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required securities licenses in accordance with company policy.

Responsibilities
