About The Position

McDougall Energy is seeking a Corporate Brand Manager to join their Marketing & Communications team. This role will report to the Director, Marketing & Communications and will be responsible for leading the planning and execution of brand, digital, and integrated marketing campaigns to support customer growth, brand consistency, and business segment priorities. The Corporate Brand Manager will act as a key steward of the McDougall Energy brand, ensuring all messaging, visual identity, campaigns, and customer-facing communications are consistent, effective, and aligned with corporate objectives. This position will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to execute marketing programs across various channels including digital, email, web, social, sales enablement, and traditional media.

Requirements

  • Four (4) to eight (8) years of relevant experience in brand management, campaign management, digital marketing, or integrated marketing.
  • Degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and channels, including email marketing, website content management, social media, campaign tracking, and performance reporting.
  • Experience using customer data, campaign results, and market insights to improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Experience managing brand standards, campaign calendars, creative development, and cross-functional approvals.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, stakeholders, and agency partners.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to turn business priorities into clear, customer-focused marketing messages.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and external partners.
  • Proactive team player with a practical, hands-on approach and a strong commitment to delivering a positive customer experience.
  • Strong business acumen, budget awareness, and ability to connect marketing activity to business outcomes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with CRM, marketing automation, or customer database tools would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key steward of the McDougall Energy corporate brand, ensuring consistency across messaging, visual identity, campaigns, customer communications, and brand standards.
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, email, web, social, sales enablement, and traditional channels.
  • Manage campaign briefs, timelines, creative development, approvals, deployment, and post-campaign reporting in collaboration with internal teams and agency partners.
  • Support day-to-day digital marketing activities, including website content updates, email marketing, social media planning, digital asset coordination, campaign tracking, and performance reporting.
  • Develop and maintain brand plans, campaign calendars, and marketing activity schedules that align with business segment priorities and corporate objectives.
  • Apply defined market and customer insights to improve targeting, messaging, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Support customer lifecycle marketing initiatives that improve acquisition, retention, engagement, and customer value.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Customer Service, Market Intelligence, and other internal partners to ensure marketing programs are practical, aligned, and customer focused.
  • Support customer segmentation and personalization efforts by helping translate customer insights into relevant campaigns, communications, and offers.
  • Support the activation of offer and value propositions defined through campaigns, messaging, and sales enablement assets.
  • Lead brand evaluation and brand integration activities related to acquisitions, including acquired brand reviews, transition planning, customer-facing messaging, and retirement of legacy brand assets where required.
  • Contribute to the annual marketing planning process, including priorities, budgets, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Track campaign performance, marketing spends, and budget activity to support continuous improvement and responsible fiscal management.
