About The Position

Zions Bank has just opened an opportunity for a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager based in Salt Lake City, Utah office. The role of a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager involves generating and servicing a wide variety of commercial loans and developing strong, low-risk commercial relationships while maintaining quality customer service. This position acts as the principal account and relationship manager for new clients, developing and following up on new client leads through existing clients and referrals. It also involves calling on existing relationships to review portfolios and make recommendations, as well as being responsible for sales, credit analysis, proper loan structuring, client interviewing, and perceptive character judgment. The role requires monitoring credit performance, ensuring compliance with regulations, and building/maintaining relationships to achieve high customer satisfaction. Additionally, the position involves cross-selling other bank products and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 4+ years commercial lending
  • Advanced knowledge of corporate banking loans, credit analysis, lending, loan processing and closing processes
  • Ability to expand corporate banking loans, client relationships and cross sell bank products
  • Proficiency in sales and relationship building
  • Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance
  • Ability to think critically and be process minded
  • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
  • High degree of personal accountability
  • Working knowledge of a software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets
  • Bachelor’s degree in banking, finance or other related field
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Generate and service a wide variety of commercial loans
  • Develop strong, low-risk commercial relationships while maintaining quality customer service
  • Act as the principal account and relationship manager for new clients
  • Develop, generate and follow-up on new client leads through existing clients and referrals from other bank departments
  • Call on existing relationships to review portfolios and make recommendations as needed
  • Responsible for sales, credit analysis, proper loan structuring, client interviewing and perceptive character judgment
  • Responsible for monitoring credit performance and ensures compliance with all related regulations, laws, etc.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining relationships, with a resulting high degree of customer satisfaction
  • Cross sell other bank products
  • Other duties as assigned
