Requirements

  • 4+ years commercial lending
  • Advanced knowledge of corporate banking loans, credit analysis, lending, loan processing and closing processes
  • Ability to expand corporate banking loans, client relationships and cross sell bank products.
  • Proficiency in sales and relationship building.
  • Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance.
  • Ability to think critically and be process minded.
  • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  • High degree of personal accountability.
  • Working knowledge of a software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in banking, finance or other related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and service a wide variety of commercial loans and develop strong, low-risk commercial relationships while maintaining quality customer service.
  • Act as the principal account and relationship manager for new clients.
  • Develop, generate, and follow-up on new client leads through existing clients and referrals from other bank departments.
  • Call on existing relationships to review portfolios and make recommendations as needed.
  • Responsible for sales, credit analysis, proper loan structuring, client interviewing and perceptive character judgment.
  • Responsible for monitoring credit performance and ensures compliance with all related regulations, laws, etc.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining relationships, with a resulting high degree of customer satisfaction.
  • Cross sell other bank products.
  • Other duties as assigned.
