About The Position

From fire alarms to kitchen fire suppression systems, security solutions, and beyond, our comprehensive offerings ensure the protection of our clients' assets and personnel. State Fire is currently looking for a full-time Receptionist based in Salt Lake City, UT. This is a full-time, onsite role that is ideal for a dependable and friendly receptionist to be the first point of contact for our office. This role is key to creating a positive experience for customers, visitors, and internal teams.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Friendly and approachable with a strong customer-facing presence
  • Comfortable operating a multi-line phone system
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous reception or customer service experience is a plus
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

  • Excellent communication and customer service in-person, on the phone and email.
  • Answer, screen, and transfer incoming phone calls in a professional manner
  • Greet and assist customers, vendors, sales reps, and guests at the front desk
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area
  • Provide general administrative support as needed
  • Assist with tasks such as scanning, filing, and data entry
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail or deliveries as assigned
  • Support team members with additional duties as business needs evolve
