About The Position

BBH is seeking sharp minds and bold thinkers for its 10-week internship program, designed as a pathway to real-world finance and global markets. The program offers hands-on learning in areas like investment management, operations, technology, and client services, with mentorship from industry leaders. Interns will participate in workshops, speaker series, and networking events for professional development, receiving continuous feedback. The role involves working in a collaborative environment where contributions are valued. The internship requires daily in-office presence to immerse in company culture and accelerate professional development. Interns will also participate in the philanthropic program, BBHcares. The Corporate Advisory & Banking (CAB) group focuses on providing corporate finance advice and capital to substantial, privately held businesses, assisting with financing needs (debt or equity) and advising on mergers & acquisitions, financing transactions, and other strategic opportunities.

Requirements

  • Current junior in college, entering senior year in fall of 2027 with a background in and passion for finance, business, or investing
  • Strong academic achievement as evidenced through a GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Demonstrated leadership skills through academic and extracurricular activities
  • Effective communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong interest and curiosity in business, including up-to-date knowledge on general business news and trends
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically
  • Sound judgment and demonstrated ability to identify, escalate and resolve a problem
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands
  • Demonstrated passion for teamwork and success
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, i.e. customizing charts and graphs, conducting multi-sheet analysis, linking data across workbooks, and using advanced formulas

Responsibilities

  • Perform company and industry research
  • Exposure to building models and performing valuation analyses
  • Support the development of client presentations assessing the client’s business, growth prospects, industry insights, valuation perspectives and strategic alternatives
  • Exposure to rigorous credit analysis, including conducting financial statement analysis, monitoring collateral, and underwriting new and existing credits and structuring credit facilities
