The Advisory Internship is a paid summer opportunity designed to provide hands-on exposure to financial planning, wealth advisory services, client relationships, and the day-to-day work of an independent fee-only Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). Interns will work alongside experienced advisors and team members while gaining practical experience that supports long-term career growth.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program
- Demonstrate a commitment to professionalism and continuous learning
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Enjoy working collaboratively on a team
- Have an interest in helping clients build ideal futures
- All applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
- Reliable transportation required
- Candidates must be able to commute to their assigned office location
Nice To Haves
- Pursuing degrees in Financial Planning, Finance, Business, Economics, or related fields
- Interested in pursuing CFP certification
- Exploring careers in financial planning, wealth management, or advisory services
Responsibilities
- Support financial planning and advisory teams
- Assist with client meeting preparation and follow-up
- Help prepare financial planning analyses and presentations
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
- Gain exposure to wealth management operations and client service processes
- Collaborate with professionals across multiple business areas
