About The Position

BioMed Realty has a Corporate Accounting internship available in its San Diego Headquarters for students majoring or minoring in Accounting. The Corporate Accounting Intern will assist with recording and reconciling corporate related activity. Responsibilities are expected to include posting journal entries, processing invoices, performing end of month balance sheet reconciliations and assisting with the month-end close process. The internship offers exposure to experienced accounting professionals, including CPAs and former Big 4 practitioners, and provides practical skills in applying accounting principles within real estate and corporate environments. Interns will also participate in team-based projects within a structured and collaborative setting and research emerging A.I. tools for accounting functions.

Requirements

Accounting major or minor.
Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Open to sophomores and juniors.
