About The Position

BioMed Realty has a Corporate Accounting internship available in its San Diego Headquarters for students majoring or minoring in Accounting. The Corporate Accounting Intern will assist with recording and reconciling corporate related activity. Responsibilities are expected to include posting journal entries, processing invoices, performing end of month balance sheet reconciliations and assisting with the month-end close process.

Requirements

• Accounting major or minor
• Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
• Open to sophomores and juniors

Responsibilities

• Posting journal entries
• Processing invoices
• Performing end of month balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with the month-end close process
• Research and evaluate emerging A.I. tools for accounting related functions
• Collaborate with cross‑functional team members to identify opportunities for A.I. usage and adoption
