About The Position

United Integrated Services (USA) Corp. is a U.S. subsidiary of United Integrated Services Co., Ltd. (UIS Taiwan), a multidisciplinary engineering and construction company founded in 1982. UIS provides fully integrated design-build services to clients in the high-technology industry for manufacturing facility needs, including engineering design, high-tech factory planning, and on-time equipment and material delivery, with a focus on clean-room systems, HVAC, electrical systems, and tool hook-up. The company is seeking motivated undergraduate students in their Junior and Senior years, with graduation dates between December 2026 and December 2027, for a 10-week paid Accounting Internship program from May 26, 2026, to July 31, 2026. The intern will gain hands-on experience in multiple areas of accounting, assisting with day-to-day functions like accounts payable, data entry, and basic reconciliations, and supporting month-end close and audit preparation, while gaining exposure to construction/project accounting processes. This role aims to alleviate workload related to invoice processing, reconciliations, and audit preparation, allowing the team to focus on higher-level financial analysis and reporting.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP knowledge preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with accounts payable processing, including invoice review and data entry
  • Perform invoice matching and follow up on discrepancies
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation
  • Support data entry in the accounting/ERP system
  • Prepare Excel reports and schedules as needed
  • Assist with vendor communication regarding invoices and payment status
  • Provide support for audit requests and PBC schedules
