Requirements

A degree from a four-year college, preferably with an accounting concentration.
Two to five years of related experience, with a preference for hospitality industry knowledge.
Command of accounts payable, payroll, debits and credits, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, accounts receivables, bank reconciliation, and cash flow projections.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Responsibilities

Be the trusted financial resource and advisor for our hotel financial and management teams.
Ensure that monthly hotel financial statements are meticulously prepared, reviewed for precision, and distributed promptly for a select set of hotels under the guidance of the Regional Controller.
Master monthly bank account and balance sheet reconciliations with precision and timeliness.
Take charge of preparing and reviewing monthly financial reports for hotels, owners, and investors.
Partner with the regional director of finance to prepare for annual audits.
Review the accuracy of new accounts payable vendor requests and support accounts payable invoice posting as needed.
Produce additional monthly financial reports based on requirements.
