About The Position
We are seeking skilled copywriters and editors to craft and refine synopses for one of the world’s largest streaming platforms. You’ll watch Japanese shows/movies in Japanese and write or edit synopses for them in English. In addition, you’ll implement feedback following multiple rounds of review. Ideal candidates are native English speakers with an advanced level of Japanese, deep knowledge of Japanese culture, and professional experience in the streaming and entertainment industry.
Requirements
- Native English speaker
- High level of Japanese language
- Live in Japan
- 2 years of professional copywriting or editing experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Can provide a portfolio or samples of your work
Nice To Haves
- Experience writing and/or editing synopses of shows or movies.
- Comfortable working on JIRA, an asset management tool.
