About The Position

The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of several areas of human resources. He/she collaborates with various internal and external clients on HR procedures. He/she coordinates the processes of onboarding and integration, time management and payroll platforms, and the various services provided by the human resources team. Organized and rigorous, he/she ensures the follow-up of various human resources files.

Requirements

  • Young graduate in human resources or industrial relations with a keen interest in the field
  • Good knowledge of various human resources concepts acquired through internships, courses, projects, and school involvement
  • Team spirit and ability to foster collaboration
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external clients and become a trusted business partner
  • Expertise in priority and stress management, despite fixed and tight deadlines
  • Rigour and constant monitoring to ensure tasks and projects are carried out within deadlines
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Comfortable with HRIS systems
  • Resourceful, active, and autonomous
  • Curious and on the lookout for best practices
  • Ability to put creativity into action
  • Bilingual (French and English) with strong interest in words and languages
  • Ability to write and adapt clear, effective, and well-structured messages, both orally and in writing, in French and English
  • Great sense of humour

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, in collaboration with stakeholders, the onboarding and integration process for corporate employees, with a focus on delivering an exceptional employee experience
  • Coordinate, in collaboration with the relevant teams, the administrative procedures related to hiring warehouse and garage employees in the integrated human resources management system (SIGRH), ensuring superior quality control
  • Support warehouse managers and branch directors of mechanical shops in administrative processes related to the hiring and termination of their employees, fostering a partnership-based approach
  • Answer employees’ questions regarding the HRIS and HR processes by acting as the first point of contact
  • Apply changes to employee records in the HRIS and coordinate terminations in collaboration with the various departments involved, ensuring the process is efficient and seamless
  • Manage various programs offered to employees (business cards, length-of-service recognition program, internal referral program)
  • Provide training and support to warehouse managers and branch directors of mechanical shops on HR administrative processes, using a pedagogical approach
  • Actively participate in various HR projects and contribute to the evolution of practices by suggesting avenues for continuous improvement
