About The Position

ENERCON, a global leader in wind turbine design and manufacturing with over 40 years of experience, is seeking a Materials Coordinator - Projects to support its wind turbine installation projects across Canada. This role, reporting to the Projects team, will provide operational support for the daily management of tools and materials used on construction sites. The position is project-based, requiring travel between projects nationwide (coast to coast in Canada) as installations progress. Some activities may also be conducted at our Boucherville (Quebec) logistics center based on operational needs. The coordinator will work closely with the Construction Manager, project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure efficient, safe, and smooth material management.

Requirements

  • DEP, AEC, or DEC in electromechanics, mechanics, or electricity.
  • Bilingualism in French/English (oral and written).
  • 1 to 2 years of experience on construction or installation sites (industrial, energy, or wind sector).
  • Knowledge of material and inventory management.
  • Experience with SAP and MS Office Suite (Excel required).
  • Certifications or experience in: Forklift, Zoom Boom, Rigging, Inspection of lifting equipment and PPE.
  • Availability for frequent national travel (coast to coast in Canada).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a field environment.
  • Team spirit, rigor, autonomy, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Construction Manager and supervisors in activities on various construction sites across Canada.
  • Ensure continuity of material management during transitions between projects.
  • Manage tools and materials on-site: reception, inventory, distribution, returns, and shipments.
  • Coordinate material orders, transportation, and transfers between sites, warehouses, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain accurate inventories in SAP, in accordance with internal processes.
  • Participate in meetings with project teams to anticipate needs for tools and materials.
  • Prepare, assemble, and optimize tool kits for installation projects.
  • Perform inspections of lifting equipment, tools, and PPE.
  • Participate in the handover of materials between ENERCON, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of material management processes.
  • Support the warehouse team during slower periods.
  • Apply and enforce health and safety regulations.
  • Perform any other related tasks related to project needs.
