About The Position

The position requires a night presence on the construction site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Relevant construction experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Excel), MS Project (basic), and AutoCAD (an asset for the latter).
  • Ability to communicate well in English (oral and written) (an asset).
  • ASP Construction card and Simdut 2015 (an asset).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Availability for 12-hour night shifts, on a 7-7 rotation.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor night work related to deep foundations and structures.
  • Ensure the conformity of work to quality requirements, execution procedures, and project stop points.
  • Act as a field liaison between execution teams, superintendents, and project stakeholders.
  • Monitor work progress and quickly identify issues that could affect safety, quality, or schedules.
  • Ensure the proper coordination of site activities to ensure the continuity and efficiency of night operations.
  • Produce and transmit necessary follow-up information to project management teams.
