About The Position

Seeking a Technical Operations Coordinator to support the Content & Editorial team with media file management. This includes encoding, transcoding, transferring, posting, archiving, and tracking file and tape-based assets.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' work experience in post-production environment in a technical operations or digital asset management role preferred
  • Four year degree or equivalent work experience
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and work efficiently under changing priorities, heavy deadlines, and daily time constraints
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Web Apps, Outlook and FTP applications a plus
  • Must have working knowledge of Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere

Responsibilities

  • Process file deliveries via Aspera, Wiredrive, Media Hub, and general FTPs.
  • Transfer files to and from hard drives, locate and prep dailies for Avid In-house editors and facilitate with up-rezing of sequences.
  • Coordinate media management including: encoding, archiving, entering metadata, tracking/locating.
  • Organize assets in digital vault.
  • Assist department with digital and tape deliveries, and track materials in and out of the vault library system.
