The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Talent Acquisition team in the recruiting and hiring process, focusing on both office and maintenance positions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Associate’s degree required
  • Human Resources experience preferred
  • Microsoft Office and internet experience
  • Basic communication skills and common courtesy is critical with the ability to exchange information effectively in a concise and logical way while being sensitive to audience diversity
  • Exceptional customer focus and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills required with the ability to learn and effectively use multiple transactional business applications
  • Ability to multi-task and make appropriate role-base decisions in a fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable workload environment
  • Excellent desk/computer/workflow organizational skills
  • Adept at assessing organizational dynamics and managing change
  • Works quickly and efficiently. Able to test solutions, learn, and iterate quickly
  • Proactive and pragmatic problem solver
  • Communicates effectively across multiple mediums

  • Transportation, Logistics, and/or Tech industry experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Talent Acquisition department with the recruitment and hiring of quality candidates
  • Prepare for New Hire Orientation by creating offer letters, assembling new hire paperwork packets, submitting candidate information to ESS, checking personal references, adding candidate information to the SharePoint documents, scheduling all new hire travel, ordering lunch, etc.
  • Perform onboarding of new hires (i.e. office/shop) within designated application(s), as needed
  • Reconcile, track, and report the billing for advertising costs and temporary employment services to ensure proper payment of invoices
  • Manage relocation process through use of third party vendor when relocation is offered to new or existing employees
  • Maintain Employee Referral Program to include recording information into the Referral Program database and sending information to Payroll at time of payout
  • Participate in departmental, divisional, and corporate initiatives as assigned by Talent Acquisition Manager or others
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Collaborate in-person with all levels of the organization to harness collective intelligence of the workforce.
  • Attend all in-person meetings and trainings on recent developments, goals, and objectives. Participate in such discussions by offering input and advice.
  • Regularly engage remotely and in-person with customers and potential customers to establish rapport, open communication, and expectations.
