About The Position

The Coordinator Quality Improvement RN will bring their passion to Texas Health to be Better + Together. This role is part of the Quality Management Department and focuses on increasing the quality of care at the hospital level. It offers opportunities to participate in peer review and clinical care advisory committees, and to present to hospital leadership. The position involves providing leadership and vision for sepsis and other patient populations, developing collaborative partnerships, overseeing and facilitating patient care, coordinating staff education on established standards, communicating findings of case reviews, and analyzing data to suggest improvements in patient care delivery.

Requirements

  • Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program
  • Three years of experience in acute care setting required
  • RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred
  • Master’s degree in health-related field preferred
  • One year of experience in healthcare quality/performance improvement preferred
  • CPHQ – Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality within 3 years preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and vision for sepsis and other patient populations in terms of operation, services and patient care
  • Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with physicians, staff and peers to support implementation and ongoing evaluation of care delivery
  • Oversee and facilitate care and follow up on patients
  • Coordinate education of staff on established standards
  • Communicate with members of the team regarding findings of case reviews and abstraction.
  • Analyze date and suggest opportunity to improve the delivery of patient care
