About The Position

Texas Health Allen is seeking a full-time Coordinator Quality Improvement, Registered Nurse to join their Quality Management Department. This role focuses on increasing the quality of care at the hospital level, participating in peer review and clinical care advisory committees, providing education for quality initiatives, and presenting findings to hospital leadership. The position is based at Texas Health Allen, an 88-bed acute-care hospital serving the Collin County area since 2000, specializing in various medical and surgical services. The hospital holds multiple accreditations and certifications, including Joint Commission Gold Seal Certification as a Chest Pain facility and Level II Maternal and NICU designations.

Requirements

  • Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required
  • Three years of experience in acute care setting required
  • RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred
  • Master’s degree in health-related field preferred
  • One year of experience in healthcare quality/performance improvement preferred
  • CPHQ – Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality within 3 years preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and vision for sepsis and other patient populations in terms of operation, services and patient care
  • Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with physicians, staff and peers to support implementation and ongoing evaluation of care delivery
  • Oversee and facilitate care and follow up on patients
  • Coordinate education of staff on established standards
  • Communicate with members of the team regarding findings of case reviews and abstraction
  • Analyze data and suggest opportunities to improve the delivery of patient care
