About The Position

The Quality Management Department at Texas Health Allen is seeking a Coordinator Quality Improvement Registered Nurse to join their team. This role will focus on increasing the quality of care at the hospital level, with opportunities to participate in peer review and clinical care advisory committees, and present findings to hospital leadership. Texas Health Allen is an 88-bed acute-care hospital serving the Collin County areas since 2000, specializing in various medical and surgical treatments, and holding multiple accreditations and certifications.

Requirements

  • Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program
  • RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required
  • Three years of experience in acute care setting required

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred
  • Master’s degree in health-related field preferred
  • One year of experience in healthcare quality/performance improvement preferred
  • CPHQ – Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality within 3 years preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and vision for sepsis and other patient populations in terms of operation, services and patient care
  • Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with physicians, staff and peers to support implementation and ongoing evaluation of care delivery
  • Oversee and facilitate care and follow up on patients
  • Coordinate education of staff on established standards
  • Communicate with members of the team regarding findings of case reviews and abstraction
  • Analyze data and suggest opportunities to improve the delivery of patient care
