The Commercial Coordinator is responsible for supporting the activities and functions of PFS training and mentoring staff to ensure that goals and objectives are met in accordance with established priorities and timeframes. The Commercial Coordinator oversees the Commercial billing and/or collections of accounts to ensure that PFS is capturing all revenues as timely and efficiently as possible. This position requires excellent customer service and communication skills with both internal and external customers. This position takes ownership of their departments processes and eliminates barriers to ensure prompt and accurate reimbursement. Oversees and/or performs special accounts receivable projects. Also is responsible to assist in identifying global problem areas that may impact PFS’s ability to meet its goals. Monitors the workflow to ensure operations by the patient account representatives are at an optimal level. Assists management in the development and implementation of procedures, training, and providing guidance to other employees. Understands and utilizes many complex and varying California and Federal Statutes and regulations, guidelines, and systems. Assures appropriate billing and collections are in compliance. The Commercial Coordinator will manage resources responsibly and work at the highest level of performance, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
