The Coordinator of State and Federal Data Systems, within the Office of the Deputy Superintendent, Accountability, Student Achievement, and School Improvement, reports to the Director, State and Federal Reporting. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely submission of state and federal reports by monitoring district data systems for compliance, coordinating data validation, and collaborating with the Student Information System (SIS) team. The position involves maintaining documentation of reporting processes, developing guidance for staff, translating complex requirements into operational procedures, and creating training materials. Additionally, the Coordinator will provide consultation to schools, collaborate with the data analytics team on dashboards and reports, analyze data trends, and partner with other teams to improve data governance. The role also includes refining data systems, identifying automation opportunities, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. Collaboration and leadership are key, serving as a liaison between departments, schools, and external agencies, participating in professional networks, and providing leadership to a team of Student Information Specialists.
