Under the supervision of the Director, Talent Operations, The Coordinator, Leave Management & Employee Wellness serves as MATC's subject matter expert for employee leave, administers all leave of absence programs in compliance with federal, state, and District policies, and oversees the college's comprehensive wellness initiatives. This position ensures consistent, legally compliant administration of all leave types across all four campuses and approximately 2,000+ employees, while proactively fostering a culture of health, resilience, and well-being. The coordinator works cross-functionally with HR Partners, Legal Counsel, Payroll, Facilities Management, and academic and administrative leadership to deliver seamless leave and accommodation experiences. Work is generally diversified requiring judgment, analysis and decision-making according to established practices and procedures. Supervision received is general. Daily responsibilities are completed independently using established policies and general objectives with interaction with supervisor limited to problems or unusual conditions.
